Set up in 3 steps

  1. Turn on the LinkLock app embed in your theme (Online Store → Themes → Customize → App embeds).
  2. Create a discount: Discounts → Create discount → LinkLock discount. Enter the code, percentage and an optional end date, save, then share the link shown in the LinkLock card with the code's owner.
  3. Check your other codes: Discounts → More actions → LinkLock: check code health.

Common questions

A shopper says the code doesn't work. LinkLock codes only work after opening the creator's link. Without it, checkout shows "This code only works through the creator's link."

A link was shared too widely. Open the discount and press New key, then save. All old links stop working; send the new link to the creator.

What is “LinkLock guard (keep active)”? An automatic discount LinkLock creates for you. It gives no discount; it shows shoppers why a locked code was refused. Keep it active.

Does “Buy it now” work? Yes. When a creator's link is active, LinkLock adds the product to the cart and goes to checkout so the discount is kept.

Is LinkLock 100% leak-proof? No tool is. LinkLock makes a copied code worthless without its link. It does not block browser extensions or scan coupon sites.

Time zone of end dates. “Link valid until” uses your store's time zone (Settings → General).
