LinkLock terms of service

These terms apply when you install or use LinkLock (“the app”), a Shopify app provided by Northlight Apps (“we”). By installing the app you agree to them.

1. Who is responsible

Northlight Apps alone is responsible for the app, its support and its maintenance. Shopify is not responsible for the app and is not liable for it. Shopify does not provide installation or support for the app; please contact us instead.

2. What the app does

LinkLock makes discount codes work only for shoppers who arrive through the code owner's link, checks your discount codes for common risks, and shows shoppers why a locked code was refused. It reduces the cost of leaked codes; it cannot guarantee that no discount is ever misused (for example, if the creator's link itself is shared).

3. Plans and billing

Plans and prices are shown in the Shopify App Store and in the app. All charges are billed by Shopify on your Shopify invoice. You can change or cancel your plan at any time from the app; cancelling stops future charges. Refunds follow Shopify's billing rules; contact us if you believe you were charged in error.

4. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for your discounts, their values and the links you share. Keep the “LinkLock guard (keep active)” discount active and the LinkLock app embed turned on, or locked codes may behave like normal codes.

5. Uninstalling

You can uninstall at any time. Shopify may remove LinkLock discounts on uninstall; you can convert them to normal discounts first from the LinkLock home page. We do not keep store data on our servers; see the privacy policy.

6. No exclusivity

These terms do not restrict you from using any other app or service, during or after your use of LinkLock.

7. Availability and liability

We work to keep the app reliable but provide it “as is”. To the extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the fees you paid us for the app in the 12 months before the claim.

8. Changes

We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. Material changes will be announced in the app.
